Sponsorships can be made in amounts varying from $500 to $5,000. We are looking to expand next year's program and develop further networking and collaborative opportunities. E-Waste Recycling News

The EPA, who has supported, but not officially endorsed the Responsible Recyclers (R2) standard, has now recognized the e-Stewards certificate! This is an important step as the country and global community is finding the best way to certify their electronic waste disposal methods. (Source: Recycling Today.)

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) is now officially sponsoring the State Electronics Challenge! (Source: Waste and Recycling News)

The SEI has updated it's Resources section! Make sure to look around for news, articles, and electronics-related projects. We have now added a "Suggest a Resource" section, where you can share any new developments and news with the SEI and the world!

The SEI also offers an Ask an Expert service, where anyone can ask a question related to electronics or electronic waste. Let us know if you have any questions.

    Call for Papers

    The Second Annual Electronics and Sustainability Symposium is scheduled on March 23-24, 2011. Industry and academic practitioners are encouraged to submit abstracts of their recent research, projects, and design thinking for presentation, publication, or both. The Call for Papers for a paper, presentation, panel discussion, or poster is available online and should be returned to Aida Sefic Williams at sei@istc.illinois.edu.
